Cookies

Highways Desk is run by Peter Holt, a sole trader. Questions go to info@highwaysdesk.com.

The desk uses one essential cookie so it knows who is signed in. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies.

It is a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 7 days. It holds the sign-in session, not your password. A script on the page cannot read it, and it is only sent on a secure connection. It lasts until you sign out, or until that time runs out if you leave the desk open.

When you preview the site inside the builder, a short-lived sign-in token is used instead of a cookie. It is not used on the live site.
